Dear Friends;

Last summer after a search to find the variety I made the drive from Fort Wayne to Mary's Plant Farm to purchase a Harrison's Yellow rose. It wintered well without any special care, it put on branches and this week I am being rewarded with what must be a couple hundred of the most beautiful and fragrant yellow roses I could imagine. The color is unbelievable.

I am very happy that I chose a Harrison's Yellow which was a bit hard to find, but it was well worth the effort. The bush I purchased from you was healthy and vigorous and is now thriving in its new home. Thank you for stocking this true American heirloom rose. It is beautiful.

Best Wishes, I hope you have a wonderful Summer, and hope to see you again soon.

Sherri,
I just want to say how impressed I am with the size and health of the mock
orange and viburnum bushes. I am so glad I ordered from you. I received
the bushes on the evening of the 25th amd planted them the next morning. I
can't wait until they bloom...they are going to be gorgeous.

I will be ordering from you again.

Thanks,

Dear Mary and staff:

Thank you very much for my recent order of the Zepherine and Hippolyite climbing roses. They were received as promised, in perfect condition and in larger specimens than I expected. But of course I should not have been surprised after reading all the wonderful testimonials of satisfied customers before myself. If ever I happen to be in your state I will make a point of stopping by to see your gardens.

May God bless you all and may your lives always be filled with beautiful flowers.

Thank you,

Dear Mary's Plant Farm,

just wanted to let you know that the quality of your roses has been fabulous. I particularly love the fragrance and beauty of the Zephirine Drouhin rose. it is blooming nicely, and the fragrance is outstanding.

thanks for the great quality of your plants, and the hardiness is as advertised (i had heard elsewhere that this plant was only hardy to z6, and since we are in z5, i was a bit skeptical. but you were correct, none of the plant died back in our winter).

best wishes,

Hello everyone,
Today was my first visit to the nursery and a very enjoyable, informative one at that!

I have spent several years "growing my gardens" and have come to learn and love that they will never be done! Recently developing a passion for roses led me to your place and the beautiful selection offered was as great as I had hoped. The real bonus was all the help and friendliness so eagerly given. I thank everyone for their time and attention helping me add a new hobby and beauty to my gardens. I know now that my family, friends and myself will be taking that time to stop and smell the roses!

See you again soon!

Hello!
Firstly, thank you for the Sorbus Alnifolia I recently received. The packing and quality of the stock was excellent. I know at this point that you've done all that you can do, and the rest is up to me. I'm certain this tree got a great start in life based on your care.

Secondly, and based on the the previous message, I'd like to know if you have the following items in a shippable state: ...

Thank you and kindest regards,

"I bought this bush [rugosa rose 'Magnifica'] from you about 6 weeks ago, and much to my surprise it bloomed today. The blossom is beautiful and the fragance is heavenly. I can't wait till I have a whole bush full of blossoms. It has 2 more buds now. I really didn't even think it would bloom until next year. I absolutely love it and can't wait to get my white alba next year. In fact I also want another magnifica next year too. Thanks a million.

"I live across the country from Mary's and I mail order many plants. When I called with questions about the feasibility of specific woodland plants for certain sites, Mary answered each with insightful information. She also recommended additional plants that would do well in those areas as companion plants. When I received my plants in the mail, they were all hardy, and much larger than the typical mail order plant. She also included an extra gift plant for me to try out. I feel like I benefited at every step of the transaction.

"If you live in the North and love roses, Mary's Plant Farm is for you. I scoured the entire country looking for a select list of very cold-resistant, blackspot free roses on their own root; and Mary had nearly every one of them. The plants are healthy, fully developed and shipped right. Mary is a walking encyclopedia on roses. Who needs more?"

"I know you couldn't possibly remember me but I shopped at your nursery... oh, it's been about 8 years ago. I just wanted to drop a note and say how much I enjoyed your nursery and the kind treatment I got from you. You had the most gorgeous daylily, a fushia color almost, and I wanted to buy one in the worst way, but you only had a few left and weren't going to sell any. Well, you took pity on me and sold me two fans! That made me so happy! I still have it by the way... and it's still very special to me. Thank you very much!"

"The roses I have received have arrived promptly and not even wilted. They are older plants with good canes and always perform very well"

"Mary's Plant Farm is a rare treat which I discovered a few years ago as a reference in a Wildflower Book. I've been "hooked" ever since. Her wildflowers are propagated, not gathered in the wild, thus native populations are not diminished. I either make a 240 mile round trip every year or have a few wildflowers shipped here each spring. I'd recommend (and have) her flowers to anyone. They are shipped in excellent condition with the same care that one would give fine China. A visit to her farm is a delightful experience that will be treasured for years."

Testimonial 1

"Mary's Plant Farm is the only place I mail order from. There is such a wonderful variety of native woodland plants. Many time I have received the plant within a day, freshly dug, and packaged beautifully. They have all done quite well for me. Every one there is quite knowledgable and helpful with any questions.
Sincerely,
Barbara T."
